Unique Selling Points
Any Sensors
We use existing data sources that are already available on the vehicles, such as APC, CCTV, WiFi, loadweight sensors, etc. to measure the number of passengers.
We apply data fusion to combine and cross-reference multiple sensors in order to enhance the accuracy of the train loading measurements.
AI-Driven
We leverage AI to detect available space on vehicles and analyse boarding and alighting patterns at each station. This data is combined with external factors - such as weather, events, and delays - to assess and correlate their impact on train carriage capacity. Our AI Prediction Engine learns from historical patterns to generate accurate capacity forecasts, including the "true available capacity" at each stop, i.e. the remaining carriage capacity after passengers have alighted.
Simple Integration
Deliver capacity forecasts directly through an API to various endpoints, e.g. mobile apps, platform displays or onboard screens to inform passengers of the least crowded carriages and suggest less busy travel times. Most importantly, it provides operators with a data-driven tool to plan, manage, and optimise train capacity.
International Patent
Our AI technology is built on our EU patent (14 002 426.6-1955) for Real-Time Capacity Forecasting for Public Transport Vehicles: by means of capturing the filling level of train carriages utilising sensors that are sensitive to the presence of passengers.
